Welcome to the North West Primary Schools Sports Association

At the heart of primary school sport in Tasmania’s North West, the NWPSSA is dedicated to fostering a love for sport, promoting participation, and nurturing young athletes through inclusive and engaging sporting opportunities.

As an organisation under Primary School Sport Tasmania (PSST), we coordinate Inter-Primary school competitions of Athletics and Cross Country, facilitate a representative team in State Athletics, host and coordinate a Major Sports Exchange with Launceston State Schools Sports Association (LSSSA), and promote sporting opportunities in a Year 5/6 Sports Day and Year 3/4 Sports Expo.
