What to expectAn opportunity to network with other Health & Physical Education teachers on the North-West coast. A chance to meet and greet sport development officers in local sport. A way to further advance teacher support, portfolio of resources and pedagogy.
You’re invited to this Professional Learning if your Primary school is affiliated with the NWPSSA or if your High School is affiliated with NWHSSA. Please register with the button above by Monday 2nd February 2026.
❋ Active Education Australia (ACHPER) We are very excited to have ACHPER involved in our afternoon HPE expo session. Andy Hair and the team will be discussing with teachers about HPE support and promoting 2026 workshops and summits in Tasmania.
❋ HART Sport AustraliaResourcing for schools is very important and as a HPE teacher sport equipment helps engage students to be more physically active. Shaun Panayi and the team will be present to promote and partner with us as an association to get more kids active.
❋ Sport Development OfficersWe are lucky enough to have a stall-based expo where teachers can meet and network with sport coordinators along the coast to discuss and book in sport opportunities for 2026.
❋ Bring your Athletics Carnival planningWe understand how difficult it can be for Primary PE teachers to plan events, especially if you are new to teaching. We encourage teachers to bring along their planning documentation to share so others can get ideas from your program.

On arrival, please park at the DECYP Ulverstone Pool carpark and head over to the Ulverstone Community Pool (LOCATION CHANGED). Wait until Davis is in attendance as there will be noone in the venue. Please sign in, take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here.
*If you are attending the DECYP Swimming Requal during the morning, we will be at East Ulverstone Primary in the library so we will need to head back to the pool for the expo.
